How do I read geometry into C4D as separated objects instead of a whole pack? Sept. 4, 2017, 3:32 a.m.

I made a bunch of flying birds with houdini , when loaded into c4d with Noseman's cache reader they are packed as one whole geometry. is there any way to separate them based on their geometry connectivity ?

Create an Arnold TP Group and set the TP Group to the one you want, then make sure the Arnold TP Group has “color” in the Export Channel and the shader network has a “user_data_rgb” with “color” as the attribute.
Just apply that material on the Arnold TP Group.

THANK YOU , Noseman, it works now. i have read this userguid ,but instead of color i typed Color in to the attribute channel. this helpd me.

some question about particle color from houdini to c4d renderer Jan. 16, 2017, 5:56 a.m.

I did some particle with color imformation on each of them,cached out and readed them into c4d with houdini engine.
in the viewport all particles seem alright, each of them got their right color, but when i render them with krakatoa in c4d , all color are lost.

the color imformation is with no doubt transfered successfully into c4d, since the particles are colored rightly in the viewport. how can i render them correctly in kk or arnold ? is it some tricky confusion between attribute names?
