During this tutorial, we will explain some basic math terminology (floats, vectors, normalization) and how to creatively use dot and cross products in Houdini.

This is a beginner friendly tutorial which seeks to demystify these mathematical concepts.

Nice. I've been using dot product a lot to create cel shading, but I didn't think about the use of cross products, for example. Your thoughts give me the insight that I can use dot products to create something like a triplanar shading where I can control the sharpness by tweaking the vector magnitude. Thanks.
