BUBBLE PINS

Transitioning from a coder to a 3D artist. Houdini was the best option for me after I explored a different number of 3D software applications. I love the procedural workflow in Houdini and how easily accessible the attributes of the geometry are available to the user. This makes it a lot easier to focus on creating a good render and less time wasted on trying to figure out how to access certain geometry points or edges.

Hello, thank you for the really cool tutorials! I am a newbie just starting to learn Houdini, working in Apprentice that does not support Redshift. Is it possible to create a tutorial for shading and rendering water in Mantra as it is the only render Apprentice has. My water does not render pretty and crisp as in your render and I don't know how to fix that. Thanks heaps :)

      Hi funnyfox,

Mantra is a CPU based renderer. Sadly I have a mediocre CPU and it takes a really long time to do anything in Mantra for me. I am thinking of upgrading my computer soon. I was hoping for the next Black Friday that I can catch some deals.

      Sorry
