I'm still trying to shake off my old Maya take on volumes, so forgive me if this is a naive question, but how can I move around a volume source? In my scene, the Source Volume DOP even has a “Use Object Transform” parameter that is checked, but if I transform the source geometry (Sphere SOP->Fluid Source SOP->Transform SOP), that transform isn't inherited in the simulation - the source is always at the origin.
If this setup seems correct, maybe my simulation needs to be “refreshed” somehow?
Thanks for any help!
Source Volume - how to transform it?

If you animate the object at geometry level (using a transform sop), make sure that the source volume dop is pointing to that transform node. Otherwise it will load the volumes that are found in the fluidsource sop.
Having your object transform at object level should also work. These transforms are picked up by the dop network.
I made a couple of examples explaining key Pyro2 principles. Have a look at them here, with sticky notes to explain what's going on.

Peter Quint also has a lot of nice tutorials that explain the new pyro sim environment:

Thanks again! Your files (and Peter's videos) are confirming that what I want is possible.
However, I still can't get it to work in this scene. It's based on that popular PyroFX volcano tutorial. I'm attaching the scene - you can see that there's animation on the source at object level, but no transformation makes its way to the DOP.
Any other ideas??
