I downloaded the Houdini Apprentice package and am confused where to go after running the install script.

First, I'm not sure the Apprentice license installed correctly.

Houdini 12.1 Installation completed.

I'm wondering why there was an error installing the apprentice license.

The second error also related to the “cannot execute binary file” happened trying to launch Houdini.

Is there a reason these binary files cannot be read?

Maybe something as simple as 64bit houdini on a 32bit system?

Try installing as root and try before that installing Python 2.7. I always delete old versions of houdini before installing a new one.

Or is the architecture problem suggested.

Also after install put the “source part” in the login bash/bashrc file so the houdini environment should be initialized automaticaly at computer startup.
