I got my copy of houdini off the 3D World magazine and it worked for a month. I got the messages to get new licences but every time I tryed to get the renewals the licence program would hang up. I tried to remove the old installation by unstalling but there are registary and other entries that were not removed. I tried to remove what I could find but seem to have made a real mess of the whole system. When I try to reinstall I now get a message that “cannot connect to the licence service on ‘my machine’”. Help!!

You might want to try getting your license tomorrow. A lot of people can't get their license renewed this weekend. Someone said that the license server is not working properly. I can't renew my Master license yet, but my Select license is good until Dec. 31.(I'm glad I licensed them at different times).

It would have been nice if Sidefx had posted something about this in the Announcements forum; unless they don't know about it?
