Hey all,

I am looking for a tutorial on creating a planet earth if there is one, or just looking for help on placing a displacement map on a sphere without it being distorted at the poles.

If anyone can help me that would be awesome!

Just use box mapping for sphere (subdivided box turned into sphere shape)
