I am new to houdini and to 3D generally and want some useful hints and tips how to find some learning resources about houdini.
It could be any possible mdium as free tutorials(html or pdf),DVD's,CD's,videos…or some project based books
I just got free houdini

I think the tutorials that come on the second CD with the Apprentice are good. After that, there is the online Houdini class at www.3dbuzz.com (which I assume everyone has heard by now? ) After that, also check out the Tutorial and User Guide available from under the Help menu.
