Hi there

I'm new to Houdini and am using apprentice to learn.
I've been using sph fluid particle simulation in Blender and want to trial the same in Houdini.
However I can't for the life of me see how to set it up, the shelf tools only create flip fluids and I can't figure out how to set it up manually?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

thanks
Nigel.

Using FLIP is now much much preferred and recommended. There's an old help page [sidefx.com] that compares the two, and there have also been a lot of improvements since then. You should give FLIP a try.

So flip would work better than sph for fluid in a glass type simulations?
I was under the impression after reading descriptions that sph would still be the best way to go with this.
I work predominantly with small scale fluids.

Thnaks
Nigel.
