I have the Vray Standalone installed on my workstation for rendering with C4D.

If I boot up Houdini, and go to Help –> About Houdini –> Show Details, and scroll all the way to the bottom, I see entries for “VRAY_OSL_PATH_x64”, “VRAY_PATH”, and “VRAY_SDK” - all of which point directly to parts of the Chaos Group installation of the Vray Standalone.

Hmmm…

Houdini is just listing all of the environment variables on your computer. Those were most likely added by the Vray installation and have nothing to do with Houdini.
