Hello everyone, I'm very new on Houdini (but not to 3D), and already started with a few tutorials.
However, for a private project, I'd like to create a kind of energy ball projectile. To be more specific, I'm trying to get a plasma-like projectile for a gun, something bright with an energy trail.
I would love to get your instructions on how to start this kind of project. I'm a bit drown in all the possibilities houdini can offer and don't know what I should base my energy ball on. Smoke ? Particles ?
Although that was the important part, keep in mind i'd like to transfer this simulation to Maya, if it has any consequences.
I would be glad to get any answer to get my work going, thanks!
