Hi,

I'm trying to do a crown splash. And its looking amazing but I need to refine it.

Is there a way I can speed up the simulation. For some reason its all in slow motion? I was re-timing it in post but I want to reduce the particle separation and increase the size of the fluid tank but I'm now running out of hard disk space!! If I could reduce the simulation from 400 frames to 100 that would solve some problems.

Any ideas?

Did you tried Timescale parameter in the Flip Solver !?
Of course in this case you need to do some tweak in your dynamic parameters to achieve best result.

Any tips on which parameters need to be tweaked. There are a lot in houdini! I only want it vaguely similar.

I've put the time scale to 2 and reduced the surface tension.
