I don't seem to be able to import a sequence of bin files in houdini exported with realflow. I make an rfImport SOP but when i go to specify a file name to import it only lists the bin files as seperate files, not as a sequence so i can only import one file!!

Does anybody know what i am doing wrong?

Just going by memory, but they're simply file sequences, right - like mypart001.bin, mypart002.bin…?

In the example above, don't worry about the file requestor properly parsing bin files(since it doesn't know about ‘bin’s), just put ‘mypart$F3.bin’ (without quotes) in the field.

wicked, worked like a charm. I just assumed something was wrong with the plugin as i could'nt get the environment variables to change to what is specified in the plugin install notes. Didn't occur to me that you would have to specify the sequence manually…
