Hi all,

I am new to Houdini and I have come across an error when trying to render.

I was following this tutorial about sending Pyro to FLIP - https://vimeo.com/157944287 [vimeo.com]

Once I had completed the simulation and went to render, the following error occuredCHECK ATTACHMENT)

The error has something to do with not being able to save geometry, as well as a SOP Error:Invalid source.

My node set up can also be viewed in attachments, the COMBINE node is a Geo node.

I have also linked the tutorial I used, those who are willing to help can watch this tutorial as I followed every step of this accordingly.

Any help would be much appreciated, as I am relatively new to Houdini.

Cheers, Nick C.

The trail sop is attempting to compute the velocity by comparing the current frame with the previous frame. On frame one, it tries to load frame zero, so it fails. The simplest way to fix this is to put a switch between the final SOP and the trail. Wire the trail in input 0 and the clean1 into input 1. Then put “$F < 1” in the switch parm, (meaning, "choose input 1 (the second input without the trail sop) if the frame number is less than 1).
