Hi,
I want to define a rest position for my sim mesh that's different from the first frame of the simulation - do you know how I can do this? I tried using a vellum rest blend node but it seemed like that wanted an animated mesh.
Sorry if this is obvious but I'm new to vellum (and houdini).
Best, Phil

Vellum Rest Blend is the way to go
in SOP version you can provide static geo in Rest Geometry input
in DOP version change source to SOP and put your static rest geo path there, also keep update Frequency to Single Frame (or change to Each Frame if you want to gradually blend towards the new rest pose or want to animate it)
