I have question about gather loop node. In my test , I am trying to gather position of an object, horizontal torus, to a horizontal grid.
I don't understand the result : You can see in the front of the picture the gather reads negative Y position. This result changes regarding the camera incidence. Is it normal ?

Since position values are relative the camera, yes this is normal. A space transformation can be used to convert camera space to world or object.
