Hi all
Im trying to get a good result with the ripple effect, first time using it. The idea is to make the ripple as if it was raining a lot, fast and shorts waves. I made changes in wave speed, conservation, and density of points, but i dont like what im getting. I attached the file in case someone can help. Thanks a lot. attached reference too.

there is many ways to do it, probably much more efficient than ripple solver woud be to do ripples in the shader based on pc lookup

but here is a modified file just showing more common way to use ripple solver
instead modifying the geometry directly you can use deforming rest to drive the ripple formation

(removed the paint sop to decrease file size)

Thanks a lot Tomas. It was very helpfull. I removed the paint node as you said, and everything works much better. I used the paint node to delimited the area of actions of the ripple, but I can do it in a very similar way with the delete node and get similar results. Thanks a lot for your help.
