What's going on with Polypath/Convert Line?

JikianIt's pretty normal for polygons to be able to share points (however each polygon has unique set of vertices )
found this interesting phenomenon where two polygons can share points
it's how most polygonal meshes are constructed
Open poly curves are still polygons, but this also extends beyond polygons, you can have multiple packed prims attached to a single point, etc

JikianUsually for simple nonbranching shapes like this Polypath SOP should recreate the shape as a single poly, would most likely not preserve any prim attrib a or prim groups
I usually treat such shapes as single polygons/poly curves so it was quite strange to see it split this way.
