Aloha all,
Still fairly new to Houdini, but the next procedural tool I'm trying to create is some sort of procedural architectural/tension membrane tool to be used in a future game project. I'm just having trouble with the breaking down the approach to this kind of task, whereas other procedural tools I've made have been fairly straightforward, this is the most complex tool I've attempted yet. I'm just looking for ideas on how other, more advanced users, might approach making this kind of tool. This question has no wrong answers, again I'm just looking for ideas, and if you've come across any tutorials out there that make something similar (even if it's a paid tutorial or various procedural tenting) I'd be greatly appreciative. I think the hardest part for me about this tool is figuring out how to procedurally create the pulling/tension of the cloth in various directions and the smooth curves of the cloth in between where the tie-cables are pulling.
Here are some concepts of what I'm trying to make (see attached)
Mahalo (thanks) in advance!

Hi,
you could look into 'minimal surfaces' or vellum cloth simulations from Entagma.
Or just use the deltamush-node and perhaps remap and blur distances towards the pin and border points.

Aloha Konstantin!
Holy smokes - I have so much to learn about Houdini. I can't thank you enough for providing such an amazingly accurate, straight-forward example. That's exactly what I was envisioning in my mind. It's so inspiring to have an amazing community behind Houdini. Thank you again!
By the way - thanks for recommending the Entagma Patreon, I've signed up already and can't wait to dig into the Vellum series.
