Hi everyone. I was trying to use mantra to do rendering. Howver, I found that eventhough I stopped the rendering in the render view, my task manager still showing that mantra is using more than 80% of my CPU to do some tasks. It didn't even stop after I had closed houdini. I would like to know if anyone has encountered similar issues and have a solution for that. Thanks a lot.

I haven't experienced that, but I'm also fairly new to Houdini. Maybe it's a bug? Next time you have Houdini open, click Render on the menu bar, and select Render Manager. That will let you shutdown background jobs.

Yup, the process can get stuck, best way is to kill it via the render manager as mentioned above.
