Hello,

I made this thing which is starting to look pretty cool but I want to have a little nub at the end of each strand to achieve a more soft organic look. Is the sweep node the best tool for this? For some reason my shape is getting squashed. I've attached a hip file if anyone would like to take a look.

Also, what would be the best way to add this shape into the dynamics? So that there is no geo passing through each other. I'm guessing I'd need to do that as a vellum cloth sim with some interior constraints to stiffen each strand?

How it's going...

Thanks!

Try using a polyframe node before the sweep. Then you can process each line with a custom shaped pscale to help approach the effect of the bulbous end of the tendril.
