Vellum String stiff issue

Hi guys, I am trying to do Vellum String, but this string must be stiff at the start and soft at the end to get some bend effect. What I get so far is the string falling down. any help really appreciate. Thank you. File and I, the attached.

Try defining more than a single point for your pin. Try the soft setting instead of permanent.
