Hi,

In Labs Polyscalpel node, when cutting a surface with a polyline, there is an option "Slice Edges Neighbouring the Source Group", I am not sure what it does? Attached is an example file and image. Tx

Enabling it will cut the shared edge, disabling it will create a new sliced edge for the poly in the group and keep a separate unsliced edge for the poly that isn`t part of the group.

Thanks Tanto I tried to reproduce this behavior to see the difference but I could not... Would it be Ok if you edit the file I attached earlier to show the difference (or even a simple diagram)? If not, you mentioned "shared" edges, are these edges shared between source group and other groups, OR within the source group? Sorry for asking again, hope you can help

You can see the difference, if you move the polygon which is not in the group. If you have two neighboured polygons sharing one edge always have two half edges (one half edge shared with the first and the other shared with the second polygon). Now you have the option cutting only one half edge, which is corresponding to the polygon in the group (or always cutting both half edges).

It's as Aizatulin said, here's the modified file with the two different behaviors.
