How does one duplicate a keyframe to another frame by dragging the currently selected keyframe(s), is there a hotkey for that ?

I don't mean "copy keyframe > move to different frame > paste keyframe".

I want to stay on the current frame, and duplicate a keyframe to different frames by dragging them.

I've been searching, but I get the feeling that's not possible in Houdini, or is it ?

I'm sure I've done this before, but I can't figure out how. I wrote it down: middle click + drag + alt + click
But that doesn't work. Any ideas?

MMB+Alt should copy a keyframe in the timeline.

Thanks. I played around with this and now it works. But different than I expected.
- The current frame indicator has to be at the position from which you want to copy (there could be a keyframe or not)
- First MMB and start to drag, then press ALT.

Right?

@Nedsch, sry I should have made myself clearer.
I meant there should be an option to MMB+Alt drag to copy a keyframe.
There isn't one atm.

Yes, I noticed that as well the other day.

Seems the only way is to drag a selection box , Copy , LMB drag the box and Paste. And if you don't drag a box first it copies and pastes the animated object

How can it be a basic feature like that is still missing ?

I don't know.
I wish SideFX would dedicate one entire development cycle solely to polishing, adding no new features.
Just cleanup, streamlining, removing UX inconsistencies, and making the Viewport rock solid...
