Vista has the middle mouse button tied to swapping between applications. So i am not able to use the middle mouse button in Houdini.

1. How do i remap the middle mouse button functions to other keys? i have browsed around the fourms/help with no luck.
2. or how do i remove the vista middle mouse button app swapping? (i have already looked at the vista mouse menus… nothing.)

Thanks for any help!

That doesn't sound like a Vista issue, it sounds like a mouse driver setting(and I'd be shocked if it was default - that's non-standard). Certainly I've never seen that by default on any Windows install. Laptop, perhaps?

There might be a utility installed with your mouse that runs separately, say from Logitech or whoever the mouse vendor is.

I uninstalled Logitech SetPoint and all is well now. Thanks.

Cool. For the record, the latest version of Setpoint works absolutely fine on Vista, I use it, and won't interfere with anything you want to do in Houdini or other apps. I suspect the settings needed tweaking.
