Hi, got a new question.

Is there a way to see what a VOP node outputs in an exact value.

For example, I'm playing around with some “Volume Gradients” and “Volume Sample” nodes, but without knowing the numbers they output in different situations makes it kind of hard to both tweak and understand them.

I was thinking that maybe you can watch the output as a graph, or just plain text.

Any pointers on this one?

Print VOP?
Wire in your value in to the Print VOP then turn on output.
There's at least one school like the old school!

Thanks for the quick reply and solve.

To anyone else reading this:

managed to get it working once I loaded houdini by typing “houdini” in the shell-window (from Houdini Shell.terminal). on Mac OS X.

Thanks again jeff.
