I have some ttf fonts added to WINDOWS/Fonts but the houdini font manager doesn't find them, can't recognise the path or hangs, help?

Try this:

1. Launch Command Line Tools from the Start Menu under
Program Files > Side Effects Software > Houdini X.X.XXX. If you're on Windows Vista or above, then launch this with “Run As Administrator”.
2. Run this command: gfont -Sv
This will generate verbose processing.

fonts have to be added in control panel first then it will become visible in other softwares so if you don't add that then add or if you added that then i think it become a mojar problem or may be your fonts or aplications program have some problem.
