You can do this via a COP. Inside your FBX Subnetwork:
1. create a COP2 Network
2. Inside, create a File COP
3. copy / past the path found in materials created by houdini, something like this .fbm/xxxxx.png
4. export with a ROP File Output
You must do this for each texture map, diffuse, bump / normal etc …
So it could be a lot of work for a complex model. A python script would be useful to do this automatically.

HongMaoThanks for this trick, it's working but starting houdini take a lot of time, more than one minute !
So it appears the real problem is with the OpenSSL library that comes with the Houdini instillation. The final step that seems to have fixed everything is by copying Manjaro's libssl.so.1.0.0, libcrypto.so.1.0.0, and libz.so.1 from /usr/lib, to Houdini's dsolib directory, overwriting Houdini's versions of those same .so files. But I also hope this story might help other Linux artists who want their Houdini 16 to work again…
For info, i replaced libz.so.1.0.7 by the libz.so.1.0.11 from /usr/lib/ and relinked the other libz.XX
I'm under Manjaro (i3wm) with the last nvidia driver from manjaro, 375.66

I've done just that and I can't see the object in the viewport. But the nodes are present in the node panel. Any ideas aboutt how to get the object visible?
Check the scale of your scene.
1st. Select the node ‘collada_scene’, and try a Ctrl+G (zoom on selected objects)
2nd. Dive into the node (multiple times if necessary) and middle click on geometry node to see the bound of your scene/object.

Is there a way to get links to download renders ?
I'm actually rendering a sequence and all is fine.
My bottleneck is download times, certainly due to my ISP.
I can have access to another one much better (fiber 1 Gb/s), but i need links to download.
Thanks

fit01() function is very useful with rand().
You only need to specify your range.
If you want a range between -1 and 1 :
fit01(rand($FF, -1, 1)
between -5 and 127:
fit01(rand($FF, -5, 127)

*z - Match any string beginning with a, b or c and ending with z.
So, try to match 1, 0, 1(but already tested), 2, 1(tested), and 3.
I think you may try with this expression
i@mymatch = match("obj_",@myattr);

In Houdini, you have the possibility to display a node and render another one.
Here, your mistake is you have the render flag on material node and display flag on color1 node.
You must click on copy1 with Ctrl key on the copy1 node, and a second time to have display too.
See attached screenshot.
Here the documentation about display/render flags http://www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini13.0/basics/objects#idm46918718116784 [sidefx.com]

Cgru can split rendering but unfortunately with a minimum of 2 x 2. So 4 pieces to render.
It's free. It's a very good render manager with a launch node directly in houdini.
There is an example file in the installation.
You can find it here cgru.info

Ocean FX create 2 geo, 2 shaders and 1 render comp in /out.
- ocean surface
- ocean interior
In ocean surface, there is 2 nodes, one for display, it's what you can see in your viewport, the second one is for rendering and use DISPLACE for render.
You can render the displacement map directly from the rennder comp in /out
Name start with Fetch….
Check this, render it and AFTER try to render.

Thanks for reply, but no, it isn't what i'm looking for.
I want to sort directly inside a POP VOP at a specific frame. I need to sort my particles and it's impossible inside a popnet.
I need this to attract particles on another animated geometry with a POP Attrack, and i want the closest particles be attracted by the proximity of geometry. So my geometry is sorted by distance from origin, and i want sort my particles in the same way but at a specific frame.
Thanks anyway

I would like to create a new attribute id on particles based on distance from origin.
So, how could i sort some particles at a specific frame, based on distance, like Sort SOP “Proximity to Point”.
I can calculate distance (length) in POP VOP, but how can i transform in unique integer, from 0 to X (0,1,2,3,…,X)
Thanks.

protozoanThanks protozan and it's what i'm trying to do but get some errors.
fsimerey: you can just use the generic edition to make your PKGBUILD, or even use it without a package, just “raw”.
Result from Afcmd:
AFERROR: Can't get file:
/opt/cgru/.htdigest
No such file or directory
Digest not loaded, authentication is disabled.
Googled it without any success.
I posted a question on Cgru forum, waiting for reply.
But just a question, in installation documentation, i not saw if i need (or how) install the database server.
Thanks
