The thin wall in Redshift has not this problem. Karma really needs some optimization about sample algorithm.

I want to know why the bubble warp example is so slow in karma (about 30 mins). It only takes several minutes in RS.

This usually happens because the edit LOP is higher up the LOP node chain, and when you change something in the Edit LOP, all the downstream LOP nodes also have to recook, resulting in slower interactivity. Do you still see this issue when the Edit LOP is the node with the display flag? A video (or better yet a hip file) could really help clarify the issue, since I have often used the Edit LOP and the performance is generally pretty good...
I uploaded the video and hip. The mouse click lost in lop viewer randomly.

Hi,
Same sample count in karma. But the Thin-Walled material has more noise.
What is the reason? How to reduce them?
Thanks!

Hi,
I use Edit lop layout several boxes. I found that dragging object in Edit lop is not smooth as object context.
There are 0.x seconds freeze when I click mouse for selecting and draging.
If Houdini could improve the interactive performance of edit lop it will give a better layout experience.
Thanks.

Hi,
I use "Render to MPlay" in Usd render Rop. There are some error messages in log viewer.
What are these meaning?
Thanks.

int pcg = pcgenerate('foo.pc',100); while(pcunshaded(pcg,'P')){ pcexport(pcg,'P',set(0,1,2)); print_once('running'); }

You can disable MoveToGoodPosition():
If you want to restore:
import hou def foo(obj,relative_to_inputs=True, move_inputs=True, move_outputs=True, move_unconnected=True): return hou.session.__bak_moveToGoodPosition = hou.Node.moveToGoodPosition hou.Node.moveToGoodPosition = foo
If you want to restore:
import hou hou.Node.moveToGoodPosition = hou.session.__bak_moveToGoodPosition
