"A man lost in absolute freedom is not free, but adrift. Maybe they were right when they said that man was never meant to bear the weight of infinite choice—that he craves the bounds of a path more than the open sea."

This could have ben a motto for the entry but really is more about me and my struggle to finally choose something coherent to work on. Or maybe it could be the motto, I don't know (hence the title, "The Unknown Cities Of Elderwood"
I don't know if it's mandatory to have a WIP entry in this contest, but time is passing and I wanted to at least post something
So let me share a little about my struggle to do something for the contest.

Fist idea that came to my mind was to do a city in the trees, Star Wars' Ewok city or Lothlórien from LOTR like.

Then I've started gathering some trees reference. I was especially interested in bark and roots (since I've understood that roots generation is somehow still lacking in Natsura toolset (I've got that watching a video about the toolset, it might be old). I thought that I could do a tool or something about that

Then I found some interesting tree with a big "wound" like crack, and I've started thinking about a huge, mountain size tree, and people the size of ants living on or in it. And, why not, the role of cattle and beasts of burden will be taken by actual insects. And maybe they will be attacked by other insects (like war) and whatnot

Being lazy and unable to learn other stuff, I've made my own fast, simple to control, "HDA in a wrangler" tree generator. Everything in a single wrangler. At the end of the video it's generating 400 trees on a grid. Work in progress.

I have added nice UV's and leaves to my tree generator.
