Instancer Transform Offset Issue

Hi all,

First of all - I am very new to Houdini.

I have a simple Bullet sim of falling stones. The RBD sim looks correct in SOP.

When I try to put it in Solaris as an instancer, the points from the sim are positioned correctly but when I add the rocks as prototypes, there seems to be some kind of double transformation - the position of the prototypes does not match the position of the points.

The prototypes are 0-centered and I tried centering the pivot for each prototype. The Solaris set up is just the instancer with prototypes plugged in the second port. Inside the instancer I have object_merge pointing to the cache with the RBD sim points.

I'm sure there is a simple solution or some checkbox that I missed. Any guidance would be appreciated. Since I'm quite new to H, I'd rather work with nodes then coding.

the points output out of RBD Solver are meant for transforming pieces from the initial state at sim frame 0 to any other frame

in case you are trying to use them to actually copy pieces you need to do some attribute manipulation, which may depend on your setup, so may be easier to post a hip file with your specific issue
