I'm looking for tutorials / information on how to blend materials and textures in Houdini; couldn't find much info in the manuals.
Use cases
1) I'd like to paint an area where material X will use Texture A where painted, texture B (could be procedural) where I have not specificed
2) I'd like to blend 2-3 procedural textures similar to how textures can be blended in photoshop, e.g. layered, masks, method (add, multiply, subtract etc.)
3) Same as #1, but blend the existing materials (e.g. glass and concrete)
Thanks in advance.
How to blend materials and textures?

Basically you'll want the Mix VOP.
