I just downloaded the latest version of Houdini (10.0.554) for Mac OSX.6.2 on iMac 27“ i7 and here are the problems:
-no button icons
-color setting don't stay on after restart
-dark color scheme can't be saved error:”Saving to stream failed (ref: Saving user option definitions failed. <Permision denied>)."
-previous version with 4XX built was good on the same machine.

i install houdini 11 for ubuntu10.04,but there are no button icons too.just like:

Somes problems like these on mac os X.
In os X, permissions on H11 preferences folder are the solution.
What say log when you launch houdini ? Can you save any preferences like color UI ?

chmod 777 * -R
