. I start to learn Houdini, and I have difficulty to understand the preview of the texture the 3D viewer. 1-If i drag and drop a shader on a geo, i can see the texture only if i render
2-If i use a UVproject Node + Material + Color Map, i can see the texture in the viewer, BUT If my texture is Cherckerboard, Wood, …, i need a render to see it. In maya, i drag an drop a shader on my geo, i can previews it …
For exemple, i use the checkerboard to do my UVs. It's really usefull. It is strange that one expects to do Houdini real-time preview of some texture !?:shock:
