I have a setup of a couple of planets and its satellites. Im trying to figure out what would be the simplest way to make the satellite revolve around the planets without keyframing anything?
you can easily do that with particles. Have a look at the Orbit POP to make the planets rotate around a center point, also the Angular Velocity POP to make planets rotate around themselves!
if you put pivot of the satelites in the center of the planet, you can just drive their rotation values, if you have many of them CHOPs are the option you will have full control and nothing needs to be simulated
