Hello

I saw a simple rigidbody sample in Cinema4D, but when I want to make it in Houdini software, the balls move through the static object !

I turn on Use Deformer Geometry and Use Object Transform in the static Object but I have same problem !

Please check this video for RBD in the cinema4D, and help me to make this sample in houdini !

Here's a file that uses the instance RBD tool from the shelf against a box with an open top.

Bullet being bullet, this required a few more substeps (15 instead of 10) and more Constraint Iterations (20 instead of 10). This to prevent rbd objects from passing through the rbd collision container. You will get some leaky spheres if you don't increase substeps and constraint iterations. I noticed a couple leaky spheres in that c4d vid link…

I also cut way back the bounce on the spheres and the cube to try to keep them in the anmiated box.

Forgot one thing.

The thin wall box with the open top, you need to toggle off the option “Polygons As Convex Hulls” on the Static Object DOP > Collisions > Bullet Data tab as this isn't a closed convex object but an open thin wall box.

Not doing this will force bullet to build an enclosed box volume around your open top box and the spheres will be quickly ejected from your box.
