$JOB is set > project is set > all the paths check out in the houdini scene variable dialogue > yet no matter what no otl / .hda will load using the above $JOB but Rsettings/houdini/otl;& works
Hi Andy , I set $JOB in the houdini.env file and launch via a shell. I have also noticed other odd behavior on the windows platform. If you use the menu tools to set project you get a / at the end of the string. of course if your rendering $JOB/render you will get // which will not evaluate correctly. Its the first time in a long time Ive used windows to work on any project and the fact its windows 7 probably does not help. I might explore launching houdini from a bat file in a project directory.
