I am using multiple pyro simulations and I need them to start at different times(different frames). I already deleted the previous frame preset in the pyro object node by left clicking it and choosing delete channels. I then enter the frame I want (example frame 8) but, then the pyro simulation doesn't explode/ignite or do anything while the simulation that started on the frame 1 preset does.

Please help

Sim as usual > post simulation add Time shift sop and retime your pyro sim. This way your can set your pyro sim off any time you like
