Setting the Velocity of wind based on geometry velocity

Hey guys, I am new to Houdini

And I am on a really big time crunch here, I have some great flames however when moving they almost completely extinguish. What I would like to do is create a wind force that takes the velocity of my object and applies an opposite wind force at half the strength.

So far I have a trail on my moving object with compute velocity chosen.

And I have a pyro sim with a wind force added.

But I do not know how to take the velocity data from my trail and apply it in any way to my wind velocity. Any help would be great, thank you

Fast moving objects and pyro are not the way to go. You should use Particles and creat VDB density / heat fields using vdb from particles sop as the core of your solution.
