Poly extrude flipping direction

Hi there,
I've had this pop up a few times and always managed to hack my way out of it, but I was hoping for a bit of a better solution.
Problem is that sometimes the poly extrude node flips direction I've tried locking down the Normal direction with a node but it still seems to flip arbitrarily sometimes.

I put an att wrangle to lock down the normal direction and threw in a polyframe in desperation

I'd love to know how to stop this from happening, any ideas?
Example… [peterleary.com]

Thanks,
Pete

I think it is because of the funky way you are making that tube. Why not use the tube node?

If you turn on Output Back for the Polyextrude the problem goes away. I also disabled the attribute wrangle and simply kick out the normals from the Triangulate node. Oh yeah, remove unused points as well.

Hey thanks,
Yeah it is a bit of a whacky way to build a tube
I was building it like that because I wanted to be able to create a cookie cutter for the ground underneath and to be able to feed different objects in. Looks like it might not work anyway but a few times I've come across that issue where the extrude flips and it just puzzles me what it bases its direction on.
