Hey

As the computer workforce is growing, we are now looking at ways to automate the installation of our software.

So far we have managed to deploy/silent install Houdini on the workstations.
What i am now looking for is some sort of commandline that can change the “license server host”.

Default it is “Localhost” and that is no good when we have floating licenses on the license server.

I have been looking at sesictrl.exe but haven't found any commands that just simply change the host the client is looking for.

I have also tried Hkey.exe with no luck so far.

It is basically the last step.
The software is there, it just need to look for the license in the right place

Cheers

Old post and you probably already found the solution but according to https://www.sidefx.com/faq/license-management/#faq17 [www.sidefx.com] you can use:

hserver -S hostname
