Hello,

I'm currently having some problems for my destruction project.
I try to cut my geometry with grids and a boolean, it works but after I watch with “exploited view” I notice my geometry is “empty”.

See image : https://puu.sh/Ap7cL/66ad6cce95.png [puu.sh]

This is not the case when I cut a Pig Head test Geometry or a regular box.
Why is that different with my geometry ? It's imported from 3Ds Max as an alembic then convert in “polygon” in Houdini
I tried with .obj file, nothing changes, I tried caching it in .bgeo.sc, nothing changes.
I guess the only solution is to fill it up in Houdini, but how am I supposed to do this ?

It seems like a really easy thing to do, but I can't find anything on internet about this problem

Well, the Pig Head geometry is not filled either.

It is a closed shell though.

Perhaps there is something going on that prevents your geometry from getting closed after the boolean.

Link your hip file, maybe someone can help.

I found out the issue, the geo isn't from me and when I cleaned the file, I deleted the pedestal.
Doing so I accidentally deleted one face under a foot of the monster, so Houdini was trying to compute on a non-closed object.

I feel stupid but anyway I solved it
Thanks for the answer though !
