I have an animation in an Alembic file that I'd like to use as a looping Agent cycle. I read in the Alembic file and then use the FBX rop to write the FBX out. Am I doing something wrong here?
I could be wrong here but I'm fairly sure an alembic cache is just geo. For fbx to work in agent setup you need the joint chain and skinned mesh (I don't think the latter is necessary for subsequent fbx imports.. just the first one but not tried it).
The reason is agent needs a skel to fasten rag doll setup to it. Altho if your doing a crowd sim that doesn't require dynamics I can't see how the cache wouldn't work).
Try exporting the mesh and skel chain as an fbx and see how that works.
