Hi Magicians,
If I have geometry in Solaris with sop level groups, it is possible to isolate those groups in Solaris?
I.e. selecting them in the viewport, pruning.
I can see these groups appear as GeomSubsets in the scene graph tree, but while I can assign materials to them, I can’t prune for use them in any other way. What am I missing?
On a similar topic, is it possible to drag/drop materials onto those groups in the viewport?
Thanks!
Kyle

Only different prims can be pruned individually. You'll need to author each group as a different scene graph location, i.e. vary the name attribute based on the group. There's even a ‘name from groups’ preset for the name sop that could be used for this purpose.
Avoid GeomSubsets. They are possibly more efficient to draw, but I only see bugs with them.
As for drag and drop, I think it's coming, but don't know when.
