I'm trying to load a .psd into a File node in COPS, but Houdini's browser says “error opening file” on absolutely any .psd I point to. Node info says it cannot find file. The files are on a networked drive but I also tried loading from a local drive and same thing… it does not like .psd files, but loads any other image or image sequence just fine. I have tried several different builds (currently on 565, previously tried 566) and I have tried trashing $HOME prefs.
What's going on?

Does Houdini support PSD? I think they need to be converted to tif or exr or png, etc first.

I'm wondering if this is a new-ish bug? I'm currently on 18.0.532 and can't open any PSD using the ‘Labs Trace PSD’ SOP node. I'm using a PSD that I know has worked before and I think I had version 18.0.516 installed at the time. Can't verify because I can't find that installer.
