I am trying to get the labs vertex animation textures working in Unity, and I am getting some peculiar results. I have a simple poly sphere centers at 0,0,0 that is animating the scale up and down. When the animation is viewed in unity it distorts between a weird skinny pencil shape, and a bulbous heart shaped thing (see attached images). Another odd thing is that while the shape is center at 0,0,0 in houdini the resulting animation has the shape offset into positive space on all three axes.

The export settings are initialized for Unity. The import settings for the image and mesh are setup right, I think. I ensured the material shader settings matched the json file and what I see in Houdini. I have tried packing the normals and not.

Can you help me determine what I am doing wrong?

I also encountered the same problem. The position and rotation are not correct.
