How to have a smooth poly bridge transition.

Hello,

I made a sphere with lower resolution, 64, and higher resolution, imagine 1024, then used the higher resolution to create a curve shape using Point Wrangle and then merged both.
The problem is using a poly bridge to create the grey part, make a bumpy section as shown in the image. This grey part is edgy and not smooth in other 3d software like blender.

How to solve this issue?

I appreciate any idea.

Looks like a problem with the Normals in Blender.

But it might work better if you make the transition from low to high not at the "bridge", but maybe one row up. That way you don’t get the elongated polygons at the tricky part of the geometry.

Thanks for your reply,

I don't think that problem is from blender normals. The problem is that I don't know how to have a gradient smooth transition from low res to high res. Furthermore, such a transition makes the total number of primitives higher.

I would appreciate it if you have any setup to share with me.

something like this i believe would be awesome and probably easy to setup in houdini for a wizzard "
