Hi everyone,

I just started using houdini a couple months ago, but right now i'm having some trouble with a vellum simulation;
It's kinda basic, i'm trying to make a cape slighlty move in the wind, but only a small part of it.

I pinned the points i wanted to stay fixed, in the "pin to animation" section of the vellum cloth, but the effects is kinda harsh, i wanted a more subtle effect.

I tried to play around with the stretch stiffness but to no avail. Is there something i'm missing? or is there a better workflow for this simulation?

Thank you all

next to the stiffness slider you can choose scale By Attribute instead of No scaling
then you can use 0-1 attribute to control stiffness of your pins to create smooth falloff if needed
