Houdini 19.0.622 / Windows 10.

I've created a simple SOP HDA in Indie that works fine. It has a a menu and two integer sliders as parameters.
When I create a blackbox version of this the BB version doesn't show any parameters. Is that to be expected?

I was expecting to get a node with user parameters, but no double click access to the node itself.

Any advice appreciated. I am a new user, so it could easily be a miss-step on my part.
