KarmaXPU / MaterialX Opacity : Rendering Trees question

Hi !

Working on some trees and vegetation. Wondering if materialX surface Opacity is supported in houdini 19.5 and karmaXPU ??

The result I am getting when turning XPU are quite different from CPU, is it a current limitation or is there a work around ?

It works for me using the bacon texture set that ships with Houdini. There must be something going on with your texture. Can you attach your leaf alpha image?

Using Houdini Indie 20.5
Windows 11 64GB Ryzen 16 core.

Thanks for checking Enivob, I did some digging I realized my opacity texture was exported from speedtree with just one channel and my signature was set to color... switched signature to float and it's all good now Haha
